PREPPY® is a programmable user friendly device that calculates use by dates for prepared food, Attached to a supported direct thermal label printer, it then prints food grade removable Prepsafe labels to affix to storage containers.
Based on the KISS theory Staff training is minimal, as the operator only needs to input a few keystrokes into PREPPY® to produce neat, clear and accurate labels in seconds.
Labels contain all the vital information about the prepared product. This includes the employee, product, date and time prepared along with the use by date and time. PREPPY® will also enable printing of defrost labels and recalculate use by dates depending on the time the product has been defrosting.
New ingredients and their unique use by characteristics as well as new clerks are easily programmable into PREPPY® without the need for any external software or computer knowledge.
